We had hoped to use this download for giving out to ids in our midweek program, many of whom are not from church or faith-based backgrounds. When we opened it, we realized it was VERY preachy. Lots of talk that would not have gone well with our midweek families, especially because it needed to be led by parents at home. I feel like a simplified and shorter version would have been good as parents don’t have a lot of time. This resource would be good for home school families or families with a stay at home parent to walk through this. But not for our purpose and not even for my kids who are too young to understand the idea of being afraid of God, for example. I don’t want to discourage you. Perhaps it could help to note that it would not be great for outreach or unchurched people unless it was like a purposeful deep study for kids with committed volunteers or parents.
Janelle, thank you so much for your review! I'm sorry you weren't happy with this resource, but I agree with you that it is not the best fit for your purposes. I have a 100% money back guarantee, so I will be contacting you about refunding your money or replacing this product with one you can use with your church. May God bless you! - Anna Joy
Good teaching. Shows not to worry over anything as Jesus is the over all power and we can trust in him.
I like how you look at halloween through Bible verses.
Our class enjoyed it very much and it was great for the teacher.
My son has been interested in Halloween and doesn’t understand why we decorate for fall not Halloween. This is a great resource to see the positive aspects of Halloween from a biblical standpoint and still be able to “enjoy” the holiday.
