  2. Forty Printable Baby Zoo Animal Cards
  3. The choice to print the Baby Zoo Animal Cards in full color OR black and white outline
  4. Peace of mind knowing that you have a lesson review game that your kids will love to play, ready to go at a moment's notice!

To play Baby Zoo "Catch an Animal", you will need a list of review questions that pertain to your lesson, masking tape, one or two bean bags, and copies of the printable Baby Zoo Animal Cards.

To set up the game, you will create a "grid" by using four pieces of masking tape on the floor, set up like a "tic-tac-toe" grid, to create 9 squares. You will place the Baby Zoo Animal Cards in each square, separated by kinds. (All the penguins in one square, all the zebras in another.)

To play the classroom game, divide your students into two teams. Have one team line up in front of one start line and the other team line up in front of the other start line. Ask the first team a question. If they answer correctly, they can throw a bean bag onto the grid. If it lands in a square with an animal, allow them to keep one of those animal cards. If the bean bag lands in a square and there are no animals left in that square, the team didn't "catch" an animal that round. Ask the second team a question. If they answer correctly, they can throw a bean bag.

With younger kids, allow them to discuss the answer and help them to come up with the right answer if needed so they can toss the bean bag. After the person at the front of the line has tossed the bean bag, have them go to the back of the line. Continue to play until your questions run out.

Allow teams to count their different animal cards to see how many different kinds of animals they "caught". If you wish to make this game competitive, the team
with the most animals wins.

This game is excellent to laminate and use over and over again for years to come!
