The girls enjoyed colouring in the puzzle and were able to discuss the Easter story as they worked. An excellent teaching resource.

It was good but a little hard to understand which question went with which answer. Hopefully the kids will get it.. they get it tomorrow at their activity

We will be using this for our elementary Sunday School kids. I am not sure of the purpose of the numbers at the "final stage" where the questions are asked. It would be more sensible to have arrows pointing from the question to the adjacent answer, instead of those numbers.

Melissa, thank you so much for your review! The numbers are part of the last step of playing the finger puzzle game. To play, have child A insert their thumb and index finger from each hand into the flaps in the back. Child B chooses one of the four words displayed when the puzzle is closed. Child A opens and closes the finger puzzle in different directions as he/she spells the chosen word. When child A finishes, he or she will hold the puzzle open. Some internal pictures will be visible and some will be hidden. Child B will choose a picture or number from the visible pictures. Child A will open and close the finger puzzle the number of times indicated on the picture chosen. Once again, when Child A is finished, he/she will hold the puzzle open and some pictures will be visible and some will be hidden. Child B will choose one more picture from the visible pictures. Child A will open that flap by unfolding it. (Only words and numbers will show at this level.) Child B will choose a number from one to four. Child A will read the verse or question from the chosen number. If it's a question, Child B will try to answer it.

This puzzle is random. On the final step, after choosing a number from one to four, Child A will ask a question OR read a Bible verse. HOWEVER, the nearest verse will help to answer the question if Child B is unsure of the answer.

I hope this makes sense. May God bless you!

The kids enjoyed the challenge of assembling the puzzle. Very good verses, and hopefully will keep the kids remembering why Jesus died for us!
