To play the Lesson Review Game African Safari Bean Bag Toss, you will need a list of review questions that pertain to your lesson, masking tape, string or twine, two chairs, three bean bags, clothespins or binder clips, and copies of the printable African Safari Animals Targets.
To set up the game, tie the twine or string between two chairs, in two levels. Attach the Safari Animals Targets to the twine or string with the binder clips or clothespins, four or five targets in each row. Place a piece of masking tape about 4 feet away from the "targets." Throw a couple of bean bags from your start line to see if you can hit the targets. Adjust the start line as necessary to make the game work for your students.
To play the classroom game, divide your students into two teams. Ask team "A" a question. If they answer correctly, they get three shots at hitting the targets. Add up the number of targets that they hit and record it on the dry erase board or chalkboard or a piece of paper.
Then, ask team "B" a question and give them three shots at the targets. You may
have one student answer a question and throw three times to get up to three points,
OR you may ask a team a question and allow three students from that team to each
throw once if the team answers correctly.
This game is excellent to laminate and use over and over again for years to come!
